I can't believe that this is happening at first time, in front of my eyes! 😇
Perfect timing since i was working on a ac 3.0 game for quiet some time. I might try to suggest the game for the jam if i finish it before the deadline, goodluck to anyone participating!

Time for our fourth annual Flash Forward Jam! This event celebrates the legacy of Flash while giving people cool new Flash games and interactive movies. It’s an alternate reality where Flash never died!
Entries are expected to run in the browser, thanks to Ruffle. Early years were focused on AS2 games but support for AS3 has come a long way, creating new opportunities this year. For a summary of Ruffle’s progress since last year, read the 2023 in Review, as well as the May and March update posts.
Jam Requirements:
Note, if you want your entry to run well on mobile, be sure your buttons have a large click space to capture finger taps.
Game Prizes:
1st - $1,000
2nd - $600
3rd - $300
4th - $150
Movie with Interactive Element Prizes:
1st - $125
2nd - $75
3rd - $50
We’re crowdfunding prize money! Use the donation option on the Supporter page and PM me a heads up you donated towards the Flash jam.

Note Regarding the NG API for Medals and/or High Scores
Since the first Flash Forward, we updated the Project System to default to our HTML5 API (Newgrounds.io). If you go to the API page in your project, there's an "Advanced" link in the top right of the header bar. Click that and in the paragraph below there is text to "click here" to switch to the old Flash API. Do that and it should guide you through the rest. Flash API documentation is in the wiki.

You're not wrong. These days, I bet people are much more interested in breaking site-locking than enforcing it.

Hey I Am To Busy To Join But Hey Good Luck Everyone I Hope You Win
If there is 1 thing i regret in life it's being just a consumer of flash content, never contributing anything.
I wish to learn flash (actionscript 2/3) from scratch and make an amazing flash game. I know the basics after doing a game jam using Source and Unity engines.
Is there anybody joining / not joining this jam interested in being commissioned to personally teach me flash?
Thank you!
Damn that prize pool is hefty, competition ought to be fierce!
I write things bro
I would join in but I can’t find any flash for the browser and I mostly use scratch (3.0)
Let's see those flash games and movies! I can't wait to see everyone's submissionsn
I gave 10.01 to this or something else. Congrats to all.
Yes I think suicide is funny and I am sick of pretending its not.

Oh man, there's stuff from me in there that I not only do I not remember writing, but don't even remember knowing! Especially all that Sparse vs Dense array stuff, totally gone outta my head! :D
If anyone wants to do the programing, then I'm in!

If flash was free :(
You can still download flash 8 tho... when you go to use it, it asks you for a code that would be sent to you if you bought flash, but you can easily find those codes on google
Would love to contribute to prize but thinking of entering. This is awesome.
