I can relate to the Twitter bit a little. I don’t intend on leaving there, but someone told me I might get banned from there due to me revealing videos of my tweets that people can use as a rate-immune viewing tool, instilling uncertainty in me. Time will tell what happens.

I wasn't even aware that one could get banned for that. I didn't really want to move off Twitter given most of my active following is still there so I'd consider here just being my backup in case twitter goes down. Id like to grow on here if I can though, not just treat newgrounds as an archive like I did Deviantart once I moved to twitter (that account is rather dead when it comes to a following)

The rules aren't too different from other websites, if you've used others before. Like you wouldn't spam, or infringe someone's work, or shoutout/callout to people, etc. the only significant difference is photography is best posted to the forum/BBS, the main art pages can't do photography (just the way it was built; photography wasn't always a part of the norm anywhere). If you're any other kind of art uploader who is original and doesn't use anything for an agenda, you are perfectly alright. The forums/BBS are naturally more flexible when it comes to that and allow more miscellaneous things, though people should still work things out in a friendly way.

I should note, Newgrounds' stance on AI art is that it's not allowed, whether it be visual or audio. The issue of AI art hit the internet like a sledgehammer, everyone had to make a quick decision on that. AI art is defined here, roughly speaking, as any art where an AI materializes a work that has no manual aspect in its creation. The idea is, just like the Mos Eisley Cantina, Newgrounds wants to fill the social void with a human touch and not C3PO's. Meanwhile, works that are mature are allowed if you follow extra protocol and you don't go crazy with it.

As for where everything is, yeah I can relate to that being confusing. Newgrounds is more elaborate than many other places. Remember, we're here for you if you ever get lost and need directions.

So i've been on newgrounds for a while now but I wasn't really that active then since 2020. its only now that I decided to although interacting with others would be a little hard so basically im gonna do things nice and steady.
