The last USB drive I got was a Samsung Bar - 64GB if I recall. It's water resistant, shock proof, etc. etc. and seems to be pretty reliable in my experience. 16GB is kind of a silly amount of space if you ask me - more space can't hurt and it's cheap too.

They make USB 3.0 flash drives, a little pricier but it moves data like shit off a shovel if you've got that port. Otherwise, latency is the only drawback to big flash drives.
