Basic income is an interesting concept. I realize it's controversial and people will bitch that it's socialist and un-American, but whatever. We already tax people to fund medicare, medicaid, food stamps, after-school programs, daycare, and everything else low-income people can't afford on their own. Paying people actual money is the same idea, but with less obfuscation. If you set aside the political ramifications of it and just think of it like an autistic kid maximizing a Sim City economy or something, it's an interesting proposition that could solve a lot of issues without forcing the government to fuck up how that money is spent.

if a product was the rarest product ever would you get for free and risk other people not to get it or buy it and let people know they might not have a chance to get it.
Money is keeping our supply and demand in check so we wont run out so quickly. Without currency we would have famine , for cropping , diseases , starving children and more problems plaguing our society reason why china is using currency but gave the poor crappy houses to then destroy and possibly might ruin their system.
you can get free stuff that will help you get money (granted by the government or under someone.) but you can't get free utilities ,food ,or other things that other people need unless you make it yourself or hunt for it but you need tools to do that to! So you pretty much need money to survive!

As of July 2016, the federal government mandates a nationwide minimum wage of $7.25 per hour. As of October 2016, there are 29 states with a minimum wage higher than the federal minimum.
In a sense, it actually does because if it didn't, it would be EQUAL PAY across all the job markets in the US states. Why not make minimum wage start off at lets say $20/hour ? Why is it so low to begin with ? And the fact that only 29 US states pay higher min. wages instead of all 50 says a lot about the way this illusion is set up, and functioning not in the average person's favor.
