What makes you think NGers didn't migrate to youtube to become kekistanis? NG is awfully dudful lately...when was the last great NG meme? 5, 10, 15 years ago?
Newgrounds is the motherland. In the Out of Club-a-Seal Theory of Internet Evolution (OCASTIE), all memes evolve directly from Club-aSeal, which was created by Tom Fulp Himself on the earliest version of Newgrounds. Before this memes could not survive in an internet atmosphere and could only exist beneath the surface of primordial fax, copier, and mimeography technology.
The proof of this is that Club-a-Seal was a salty meme, and memes to this day are still salty for this reason.
How is kekistan so good at appropriating our culture? Maybe they have inside ears...
The kekistani's have always stolen the memes of NGers, using us as slaves then staeling credit for our hard work. This is why modern NGers no longer wish to contribute without proper compensation. The kekistanis use this as an excuse to call us shiftless and lazy, even though the greatest monuments to the internet, such as the Great Portal, exist on Newgrounds to this day. Newgrounds isn't poor in memes because we lack worth, we're poor in memes because of of pepe exploitation.
Also...ooo, i'm gonna regret this one...we should build a wall between youtube and ng. Then they'd have a hell of a time appropriating our culture.
This is a crab in a barrel mentality. Many NGers have successfully climbed out of Newgrounds. Pulling them back down will never uplift the rest of us still here. The entire internet as we know it today left NG at one point or another and flourished in new territories.

In this modern era of stagnation, I regret my lack of humor and content creation ability.
As do I.

How do we stop pepe gentrification?
We need to invade Kekistan Funk, let's rally the troops.
This is not what Newgrounds Mandela would do. A kekistani amnesty is the only long term solution.
