Do you just get an idea, or sit down and let it flow until it you've got something that's good to paint?
I usually get ideas throughout the day and try to sketch them out on scraps of paper to paint some time later.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to keep experimenting with brushwork.

I really like a lot of the stuff and ideas here! It's really different.
I think you're slowly improving. But I think the most obvious one you can work on is being more distinct with you darker and lighter values. And using a more harder brush.
Cause right now the rendering does look a bit muddy.

Yeah you are right, I want to experiment more with different brushes.In this next piece I'm using mostly hard edge brushes.
