you're bringing up some tangential discussion, dude. let me expound a little
no one has control over the circumstances they are born into. you didn't choose your race, genetic profile, gender makeup, or the culture you were raised in. The country you lived in, and your parents lived in, has been conquered and reconquered time and time again. Loyalty to temporary real estate is silly. It's not 'your' land or 'your' country. No one on this planet has rights, they have varying levels of privileges, and with that a varying level of responsibility.
Of course, you should always respect and enjoy where you came from, and share it with similar people and others who appreciate your culture. But it's not a situation that you created yourself. It's all random chance and therefore isn't valid grounds to derive pride (or shame if you were born into poverty)
humans totally need to tone down the breeding, though. part of the problem is, it's the one's that can't afford to raise children and in poverty (which has a correlation with crime in America) are the once who pop out kids the most. expect this to be more of problem with Pence's anti-birth control measures.
