There's something totally insane that makes you pull your hair out in every picture.

It looks fine to me. I don't know about living in a ground floor home and the painting is a little risque for my taste, but other than that its fine. I've seen much uglier houses than this.

I've actually been to the Sam Kee Building, twice in my lifetime!
Never actually been inside it, but heard there used to be a bathhouse down below!
A truly prophetic sig...
So I went to an art school for my first degree. A lot of the architecture grad students would come up with stuff like this for their thesis. This is pretty much what happens when an architect who spent way more time in school than in the field makes something just because they can. It turns a lot more into their "personal expression", and generally fails to fulfill the basic functionality of an actual house.

Modern architecture... I don't get it. :|
Looks pretty nice on the outside though! And it has a pretty good vantage point from the bathtub, with immediate gravity-powered access to the ground floor.
This thread reminded me of The Swansea Hitler House that was in the news a few years ago.
As for modern design, the look of the OP's link did make me want to rip my eyes out with it's "edgy for edgy's sake" features. Bring back the simplistic designs of the early 20th century I say.
it reeks of trying too hard
it does look nice and very european, the only real issue i have is with that fucking table

Not sure about that safe part in regard to the slick and slim staircase without helpful handrail or enclosing walls and raised bathtub on second floor, or functional in regard to having a mass of water in active use in a raised middle area of house with no surrounding surfaces to catch splash. It does look nice and spacious though!
"house of rolf"
YOU DARE MOCK THE SON OF A SHEPHARD!
Aside from the lofted bathtub I don't see anything egregious about the architecture. But as far as the design... It looks like a 6 year old designed it.
If I offer to help you in a post, PM me to get it. I often forget to revisit threads.
