So who's going to watch this? Apparently it seems to be a remake of the original 1954 Godzilla movie. The U.S. version of the movie is going to be handled by Funimation.

Don't really know what Toho were thinking with Godzilla's redesign, but it looks to be like they thought "let's put the big G in a blender and see if that makes him more evil-looking"
