Do you watch streams?

I know it's a popular phenomena, I figure most people do it for the Ecelebs more than the games themselves at this point. I personally don't really enjoy watching streams since I'd rather be playing the game itself. Though I could see where someone might watch it if they're super interested in a given game and want to see the story start to finish.

I like when people watch me though, like it's a group activity and it's a little less lonely. But most times I put up a stream of my gameplay no one will really find me. Usually it's just my girlfriend. What about you guys?

I dislike twitch as a site, but it's also the more popular platform as far as I'm aware. It's full of those MLG esports types and those who worship them.

I used to record videos back when Warcraft 3 melee games used to be popular, before DotA took over. There's still a few remnants on my old youtube account. Probably the most views i'll ever have on anything.

I try to. But it feels like every time someone I like is streaming, I'm too busy to watch.

It's so much easier with video creators like the Game Grumps or OneyPlays where they can post their videos and I can watch them whenever.

That's also why I wish Joel would edit and post his streams on his main channel a little more.

then again I'm sure he's just probably too busy too.

Isn't it boring watching hours and hours of a stream though? Like imagine Dark souls or a game with lots of deaths, would you really want to watch all the failures too?

I suppose I could do that for Einhander if I was really in the mood. The game I've been streaming lately in Bit Trip Runner 2, the music is so comfy that I can usually just enjoy it by myself, but I secretly hope someone else tunes in to chill out too.
