Yeah, occasionally, they aren't too bad, but hollywood sequels are for the most part terrible. The worst part is when actors I respect start following the money and wind up being in shit cash grabs.

I like a few sequels. Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron (even though everyone hates on it for no good reason) are some of my favourite movies

Not all sequels are horrible, Terminator 2, Aliens, Gremlins 2 (in my opinion), Toy Story 2, Batman Returns (in my opinion), Superman 2, The Dark Knight, Spiderman 2, Star Trek II, The Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade, all Rocky sequels except for 5, The Devil's Rejects, Home Alone 2 (in my opinion), and The Good The Bad and The Ugly are all good sequels.

Absolutely, most of those sequels are really good, I was just listing some examples of good sequels, but most of those can definitely be applied to examples of good sequels, like Ghostbusters 2 and Back to the Future 2 and 3.
I'll take original content over a sequel any day.
i don't really have a problem with sequels, some are quite good. the standard for me tends to be whether or not the first film was good enough to warrant more, less a judgement on the followups.

I'm so-so on sequels, but I'm sick to death of reboots.
If Hollywood reboots Casablanca, I'll do them a favor and dig up Humphrey Bogart to see if he's spinning in his grave.
