I just started to get back into learning animation, and I have a question. When you import sprites to library, I know you're suppose to get both bitmaps and graphics, but they graphics have names like symbol 1 symbol 2 symbol 3 ect. I want to know, how do I get both the graphics and the bitmaps with the same name when I import them?
The symbols don't get named but if you look in the library you'll see that the actual bitmaps are in there with whatever file name you gave them. You can use the original bitmaps in your project, just remember to right click and go to properties to switch the resolution to smooth/lossless.
