Have you ever been playing a game and called somebody a noob? If so, which games was it?

Oh boy, this is going to lead to some high-quality discussion, I'm sure.
illicit makes a damn good signature.

Noob is a relative older term from around 2000. 16 years later, newer gamers may have never heard it before?

Pretty sure everyone heard the word n00b before considering tons of people still say it,

Say it in in a video game to another player. If you did which video game was it?
don't think so, never really liked the word.
but a few years ago when i use to play a lot of cat&mouse in forza, i'd sometimes come home from the bar and verbally degrade pretty much anyone who was worse than me, being blind drunk and still winning.
not usually a shit talker, but drunk, i do and say a lot of things i wouldn't otherwise.

Yes.
It's all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits.
Jokingly called my friend a noob when I taught him how to play Dark Souls.

Yes, I am a Living Legend and I am happy. That has nothing to do with this topic, but okay.
I'm pretty sure I've called plenty of people noobs back when I was a noob here at NG.
Never in a game though.

I figured that term was older, and not used as often in video games.
I remember when "Shut The Fuck Up n00b!" was a meme.
A truly prophetic sig...

Its okay to start as a noob, but one should try not to stay a noob.

It would only count if it was during a video game.

The sarcasm is strong with this one...I like it.

Nothing wrong with a joke hear and there. Looks like noob is still being used.
I played Injustice: Gods Among Us for the first time a few months ago with some of my friends. I beat my friend (who owns the game), multiple times and called him a n00b

The description doesn't fit, if not a synonym of menace

Typing it and saying it, are two different things. Did you ever actually say it?

Especially when they say it like "nb" that's pure cringe.
I agree. I was thinking it was retired, but people are still using it today.

I might have...
On several occasions.

That sounds like a good time to use that term.
I might have but don't remember. I know I've been called noob before.

It is okay to say nobody. Not everybody has done it.

It is good to be a positive and encouraging team mate. More players should be that way.
Maybe a long time ago when I was still a kid because I thought it was a funny word but that was a long time ago. (Probably 10+ years ago)
These days nope.

I think its good that the word is not used as much. New words should replace that term.
