Hey, I've been trying to create a snare drum in FL studio with a lot of reverb. Kinda like the drums in First of the year (skrillex) or any basic dubstep track. I tried experimenting with an ambass snare. I tried to increase the release on the envelope, Which just screwed up the sound completely even after I reset it. And the I tried using the Fruity reverb 2 effect. which didn't help at all. So can somebody help me on making the snare? Or is it a drum set I had to download?
Set the reverb to 100% wet and resample it. Then it'll be much easier to work with it. You'll just need to high pass the reverb and perhaps boost the highs.
