Went with hard shadows and tones to replicate the comic style of a few of my favourite artists.
It's lovely! :D
Although I'm sad I didn't get to see what your re-designing would turn into :)

Looks interesting enough - I'm sure this is not too adult-y, as long the NSFW-stuff is not shown in the piece. We know what will be coming, but it's not there yet - so don't worry about it pal :)
Also, please don't double-post so much and spam the thread. You can edit your posts instead :)

Looks very kewl so far - love the style! I'd recommend lighting up Deadpool's suit a bit, as right now HarleyQuinn's face lights up the whole piece and steals all of the attention :)
EDIT: Oh, your new WiP changed that. Nice job! :D

Here is my rough shadow blocking...
It would be weird to participate in the contest without getting into the theme, eh? :b
A lovely little scene you made there. I'd never imagined Deadpool as the Prince on the White Horse, heh

Looks really kewl - love Harley Quinn's eyes! :D

Then what's with the female Deadpool reference picture? Anyway, looking forward to seeing this sexual thing come to life ^^

How sweet is that? They're killing each other for love :3
And yeah, it's no shame having your own style - quite the opposite of a shame really :)

Lovely idea! I'd suggest reducing the size of Harley's neck and chin - and also make Deadpool's hand (holding the camera) visible up to the wrist. Jazza would love to see if you could pull off the perspective of his muscles and all that :)

You clearly tried put your mind into DP and HQ's ways of thinking to make this piece, haha, wonderful! ^^

You got a point, and at that point I hadn't noticed DP having squar-y gloves is actually popular concept. You're clearly not the only one doing that, so I'm pulling back that suggestion ^^
For the bat, alrighty - how far have you got? You've been as quiet in here as I have :O

I don't think Jazza would mind. He made Deadpool a choice for the contest himself :b
What would be your text anyway? :)

Trying is the road to success :)
BTW, you might wanna differentiate the blacks in Harley Quinn's outfit from the background with some highlights or something :)

Wow - amazing anatomy and all that. Definitely gonna make it to the showcase! :)
Are you gonna put some colors into it, or keep it like this? Either decision would work :)
At 2/5/16 11:47 PM, spiralmemory wrote: Here's my work so far. I really dig this matchup. Color will come soon
Lovely! Although it's a risky perspective choice with the arm holding a gun - the colors will probably decide if this will be a success or not. Fortunately, you seem to know what you're doing :)

What do you mean it's not going well? It's kewl! :)
I'd suggest having HQ's second arm reach up and hold behind DP's neck, to make it more obvious that they both want that damn kiss. And also, her chest and boob could use some work :)

Jazza ain't going to reply, pal, not until the end of the contest anyway. But the rest of us might be of service though :)

Welcome to the contest! If you want some feedback I have a single advice for ya - Harley Quinn's head seems a bit small compared to her upper torso - you might decrease its size a bit. Nevertheless, kewl thing you've got going on there :)
