Only thing that comes to mind right now is women's involvement in society.
Some older men and women don't quite understand women sports or having females in the army and the workforce (i haven't seen much of that last one, though) they mostly see women are caretakers and stay-at-home moms, while the younger generations claim women can do just about anything and then some.
Once the older generation passes away there should be less of a gap, no real solution there except waiting or attempting to change their opinions/show the other side of the argument.
Sure there'll still be misogynist bigots even in today's generation but they're mostly a minority now, no?

Aren't the stats about 50% white and 50% black in terms of the activists, though?
