Wanna be friends?

I try very hard, but I have almost no friends. I go places, I talk to people, but I have trouble articulating my thoughts, and sometimes I come off as awkward or strange. I mean well though. I'm kind of a goofball, but whatevs...

In as few words as possible: My name is Brent, though I switch the letters around to spell Bertn (Burton.) I am an aspiring cartoonist, writer, and music guy who loves all things silly and fantastical. I love to create things, build worlds, make characters, tell stories. I'm a total child at heart, shy, silly and very weird I'll admit. I try to stay happy, but I do struggle with some pretty heavy depression and anxiety. I always try my best to stay positive though. Your troubles are only as big as you make them I suppose. I try to be a nice guy, but I have many bad days, sure. A friend would definitely help me tremendously! Together we shall rule the world!!

I know New Grounds isn't always the friendliest neck of the woods, but most of the folks are cool and pretty dang creative people. That's why I posted this hear of all places.

Anyways, maybe we won't be friends in real life, but a pen pal at very least would be pretty darn cool :-)

It is nice to try and connect with people online and meet new friends but always be wary of who you trade information with. In other words don't give out your passwords, social security, birthdays, things like that which could get you into trouble.

In time you might. I've met some wonderful people here, who have enriched my life greatly over the years. I'm a goof ball too, but I'm older, so online chatting goes down easier when you guys don't see my bald spot lol, and don't mind some of the saltier comments tossed your way. We're a rather sarcastic bunch here, for deeply personal reasons I'm sure...

Yes, I am very much 22. I'm suprised no one had ever asked me about that before. 1991 is referring to a significant date in the fictional universe in which all my cartoons, comics and other stories all share, plus I just like the number 91 for whatever reason. Hope that clears things up.
