You mean the AC adapter beeped at you? You said battery box. An AC adapter is not a battery box.
Yes, the 90w AC adapter beeps at me. The only source of power to my ALL-IN-ONE (monitor is computer) computer.
Ohhhhh. You should have said so. This is an easy fix.
First of all, if this computer is less than a year old or so, you need to call HP and tell them to send you a new AC adapter. Don't let them give you any shit, either. I have AC adapters that are decades old and still work. There's absolutely no excuse for it to fail so early.
Otherwise, you will need to find a replacement. Look on the back of the adapter. There should be spec list. Look at the output section. Find the voltage (ie. 12.6V), the current output (ie. 5.2A), and the polarity (pic).
Now you need to find a replacement. The voltage should be a match (12.6V = 12.6V), the current output should be the same or higher (5.5A > 5.2A), and the polarity should be the same. If the polarity is center-positive like in the example pic then you shouldn't have any trouble because that's the standard. If it's center-negative then that means that HP hates you and it will be harder to find a matching adapter.
