I was just fired from my job at the Home Depot over innocuous shit. One of my managers cried his ass of when he told me, though lol. Had they been in control, I would still have my job, but this was a corporate issue.

Good news is that one of my managers referred my ass to a church school that's very desperate for a landscaping job. :)

My least cynical guess is that he's frustrated by all the handouts I'm getting. Everyone in my immediate family is chipping in to help me get this car, and every job I've obtained so far was through knowing people. Maybe he thinks I'll turn into one of those entitled kid-dults who expect everything to be given to them.

That guess is super ironic because there's about a decade and a half worth of hostility between my stepdad and I, but I hate blogging about my life so I'm not going to go into any detail.

Maybe it does goes further between the relationship of you and your step father. I know how these sort of relationships tend to be complicated...but maybe he's just upset that his family didn't help him.
