I thought they were required to have regular testing and, as a result, actually have lower rates of STDs provided they don't contract something off-set? And it's generally considered a pretty big deal when/if some porn star is infecting others.

I think I'll have to go with the "depends on the porn star" answer as well. They're not all the airhead stereotypes. Some of them seem to be able to hold a conversation or actually have what could be considered as more intelligent interests outside of porn.

Well I mean, think of it this way. You can't assume, given a porn star and some random girl, that the random girl is less promiscuous. And you know all the porn stars are regularly checked for STDs but you don't know if other guys would be.
Of the two, I'd rather the open, honest one.
And as I've said, some porn stars are very particular in who they fuck and it's very possible such a porn star could have very few partners.
The two biggest factors are yeah you don't want killer STDs if you can avoid them, and you don't want angry killer ex-boyfriends if you can avoid that. Good on all of you! Glad to see such open-mindedness. And also glad to see people who actually understand what cheating entails/doesn't entail. Too many people don't seem to grasp that, for some reason.
If everyone's open and upfront about it and okay with it, then it's not cheating. It's as simple as that. Cheating is the going behind people's backs and doing stuff you know they wouldn't approve. If it's approved, it's fair game.
