Hi everyone I know this must have been asked already but what animation program is the best one to use for a beginner who has never done animation before only digital art. Thanks
FLash is a great starter program, you could use the animation in photoshop too. Drawing is going to be the best way to learn the fundamentals of animation. Check out the animators survival kit, its a must read!
The infamous Flash is still the best. I recommend Macromedia Flash 8 if you're just a beginner. It's a tad more intuitive than Adobe Flash, since Adobe's counterpart is full of features that might confuse you at first sight. Anyway, have fun animating!
flash'll be the easiest animation tool to learn from scratch.
however, if you're already pretty well-versed in using photoshop for your digital art, it could be a lot smoother of a jump to just use photoshop's built-in animation tools to get you started. being in that familiar environment will make the transition from still to motion much more enjoyable.
