The internet's already like a highschool. You've got skinheads, swagfags, fedora-wielders, bimbos, yaoi fangirls, furries, genderfluid queer-o-sexuals... If there's a newly discovered highschool clique, it's been on the internet longer.
The mascot would obviously be a dude in a dick costume.
As for the different cliques, clubs, and classes...
MySpace would be that non-official club that the student council forced to break up instead of make official, and FaceBook would be the official version started by those same student council members soon after
Instagram would be the Photography club
Twitter would be the yearbook club
DeviantArt would be the art related classes
YouTube would be the A/V club
Reddit would probably be either debate club or school newspaper
4chan would probably be those 20-somethings that are still in school and smoke and drink in the bathrooms
I've given my answer to this question before on the NG BBS. Dig for ot in the thousands of other threads asking this same stupid hypothetical.
Newgrounds would be that weird group of people that people don't really know much about.
