How many pages have your topics gone? What is the secret?

Personally I think it's a matter of how interesting your subject is and if the subject draws enough attention, you can get some funny reactions and flames and all of that. Oh and posts.

If you search through the forums you will find that the most popular threads are fairly generic. The more in depth the thread the less replies you are going to get.Threads you ask you to say post a link, a desktop, pop in and say hello, or something like that do really well. Threads that ask for in depth analysis on a specific topic usually do not.

I don't create new topics, so I have no advice for you on how to make your thread more popular. I would rather be an observer and respond to things that I have something to say about.

You have to ask yourself why you want to make new threads. If your goal to encourage discussions on a certain issue, even if you don't expect that topic to be popular, that shouldn't prevent you from making a thread on that topic if you think it is worthy of discussion.

If you simply wants your threads to be popular, then as I have said, I have no opinions on it.

The secret is to make interesting threads.
