For a long time I refused to colour my traditional drawings as I didn't have any experience at it. I then found out about Photoshop which, by allowing me to correct myself helped me develop some understanding of colour, light and shadow.
I now get asked a lot how I go about colouring drawings like: http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/drawingwitharthuz/forbidden-perfect-love?context=ratings:etm.user:5219256.scouted:.offset:6
So now I wanted to share some of the things I found out and applied on my work. You can find the origial FULL photoshop file of that drawing in linked, in here:http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/2d8b1f3a2b1dc3df3f962d13261bacc8
Check how i use the multiply layers to give the skin tones and other stuff..
NOTE: You are NOT allowed to re-upload that Photoshop file anywhere else outside of the Newgrounds website.
This file is for the purpose of helping those in search of fundamentals like i needed at first, not for your advertising benefit.
