I love this game even though I've only ever been able to get into orbit around kerbal
and I've never even made it to the moon

I've only got the demo, it seems like a good game, albeit very complex unless you know all about spacey-stuff.

KSP is a pretty awesome game. Have you ever checked out Space Engineers? It's kinda similar, only a little less realistic and more combat oriented.

I also have space engineers and love it as well
have you tried the new one where you build castles and what not?

You mean Medieval Engineers? I haven't actually played it yet, but I've seen it and it looks pretty promising. KSH is a pretty solid company IMO.

I've always built a rocket thinking "yeah this baby's going far" only to have it spin out and explode on the ground. I think I got to space once or twice, but I ended up roaming indefinitly, so I quit.
