It seems very simple I'm sure but I'm wondering if the animator uses traditional hand drawn animation for the animated parts or what exactly?
Seems like traditional 2D animation, just simplified with very little character movement
It's just really limited traditional animation. Having a narrator serves the purpose of having less animation by having him tell you directly what's happening instead of showing you. It reminds me of the stuff they used to do on the old school Rocky and Bullwinkle show.
