I've been to my share of Counselors, and they all have been the same worthless people to me.
1 They don't talk about any real issues with me, only tell me to do superficial things.
2 They like to talk about themselves.
3 They freak out if you disagree with them.
The only good Shrinks I've seen are in Movies.
Anyone want to share some experiences?
As hard to come by as intelligent teachers, if not more so.

A lot of the time, the people involved in the realm of psychology are either pretentious or retarded.
My girlfriend's friend's mother is a psychiatrist. She's damn smart and great at what she does. Problem with most of them is their ego, not their intelligence.
I had a good counselor in high school, but she was interim. Sucks since she was the only one I ever really talked to about the shit going on in my head, and she just disappeared one day. Meh.

The last time I talked to a therapist they came to my home and looked through my phone with my mom and found all my high quality pornography
