I keep seeing different answers when I look it up. I used to live in a place I didn't like, I was never really happy, I didn't like to atmosphere, I don't know if I was depressed. I don't know if iv'e ever felt it.
What is true depression?

Iv'e been close to not caring about anything, but the rest must suck.
My brother is depressed, he gets anxiety and also that "can't get out of bed because lack of motivation" thing.
I also find it hard to get out of bed sometimes, as well as concentration issues, but I refuse to admit to myself that I may have a problem.
It's just laziness. Yeah.

The ultimate depression goes beyond hopelessness. The most depressed individual could wake up as an omnipotent entity capable of changing anything in their life that they are dissatisfied with, and the would still either do nothing or simply use their power to kill themselves.
