Can someone tell me why some projects i have will be extremely laggy when I do "Test Scene"? Does that kind of thing happen when you have an abundance of symbols in your project? That's what i've heard. The audio tends to go at the same speed but he video stays behind and skips frames. When I scrub through the timeline, all is clean and smooth.
Have you tried right clicking in the swf window and setting quality to low?

No prob. Also, if there's a whole lot of sketchy drawing in the scene, Flash Player has to calculate all of those vectors, which can cause slowing down as well.
