it seems that ever since Disney got the rights to the avengers they have been trying to ruin hawk eye. in the avengers movie he is basically just a pawn to loki which I can but after he is turned back to good he seems kinda lame only really doing damage because the alien attack force were idiots the for got to put a roof on there vehicles.
its worse in avengers assemble where he is basically played up as whiny self obsessed glory hound that make's you wander how he made it into a military organization with any kind of standards let alone shield. this is most apperent in the episode where they fight that asgardian energy eating monster thing and hawk eye is harshing on falcon for using a gadget to save him from a robot at the start that was kicking his ass. through out this little adventure he is constantly saying falcon has no skill because he relys on gadgets which is basically a case of the pot calling the kettle black since hawk eye is almost usless with out his gadget arrows which he dosent know how to build. while falcon builds his own gadgets which shows he has much more skill since he doesent just get most of them from shield.
so wtf Disney you should have just kept his personality from avengers earths mightiest heros it was perfect
