I can't give much advice since I don't shave or trim body hair, and use an electric razor since I can't trust myself with normal ones. But would definitely agree with the first reply of only trimming around sensitive areas like the vagina and not trying to cut too close to it, the last thing you want is to cut yourself there, I can image it would be really nasty. Just trim away from the vagina itself trimming the hair above it I guess. You definitely don't need to fully get rid of the hair down there, I don't think people wouled complain if hairs remained (or if it was hairy at all tbh but I guess some people are weird and would refuse to have sex with you if they couldn't handle the fact they had to see some hair as if it made tyhem think of a man's beard too much and make them question their insecure sexuality rather than just fucking getting on with life and making love to you regardless of if the vagina had hair around it or not because who the fuck really gives a shit about such things) but anyway, yea, away from the rant.

Just make sure you don't shave too close and risk cutting yourself, especially don't shave around the cliterous or other sensitive areas I know little about, no point risking a seriously nasty and painful injury just to get rid of an extra bit of hair.

Have you thought about using hair removing lotion like nair or veet?

Unless they changed the protocals recently, only armed forces in the Navy are allowed a beard, so would therefore be needing to shave regardless unless they did change that. @TailsPrower they still not allow beards or is that no longer a thing? Can you now have a manly beard?

Unless a soldier is special forces or has a medical condition that contraindicates shaving, he is required by AR 670-1 to shave errday or at least appear clean shaven. That includes me.
