I'll use myself as an example:
I really enjoyed playing Tropix, Mahjong Jade Expedition, Mahjong Adventures, and Big Kahuna Reef. I played the demo and I tried to buy Tropix 2, but unfortunately an error occurred in the transactions and it didn't register as being paid for in spite of the fact that the money has been already sent to them. And I sent the amount of cash needed to buy the game twice to them, but I still can't play the game!

Steam is dangerous and prevents me from getting work done often. Origin as well. Those free games...
I mostly play PC anyway.
If you like tycoon type games like the old Sims Tower, the game Theme Hospital is available for PC again. I've killed some time on that one, and some patients as well.

I actually still have Sim Tower on an old hard drive somewhere around here... ( err, somewhere amongst the rubble) Along with Sim Earth and Sim Ant, sadly no idea what became of my copies of Sim City 2000 and Civilisation 2 presumably still in my mom's attic after i moved out.
Went and bought Theme Hospital again, for convenience, at gog.com along with both Master of Orion 1 and 2 they have this huge supply of yee olde pc awesome.
The last PC game I purchased was Heroes of Might and Magic 4. The entire series is excellent.

I just searched GOG, Origin and Steam and couldn't find SimTower anywhere.
I have the discs for Sim: City, Tower, Ant, Copter, Isle and Safari, but I can only play them on a shitty-ass 32-bit Windows computer, which I don't have set up.
Also, all my childhood SimCity 2000 cities are either missing or have been deleted.
