Hiring 2d animator.

Im hiring a 2d animator for a 10 episode(10-15 minutes each episode) comedy series.
Have in mind that the animation should look like south park a little bit but with strokes but not EXACTLY the same.
Im paying $1 per one minute of animation if the series is a success and if we are going to go for a second season then the artist will propably get paid $5 per one minute of animation.Also the background artist will be a different guy so if anyone is interested about being a background artist in my series, pm me.

If you are interested you have to said me something of your work.

Hey guys, I kinda need my appendix removed. If there is a licensed surgeon around that could do this for me. I'll pay about 10$ for the entire procedure. If I need a second appendix removed I'll pay 20$. Anesthesia will be done by another person.

$1 per minute is arguably more insulting than asking a animator to work 'for the exposure' / or a measly slice of the potential ad revenue ;(

You posted this in the collab section also. You have to be delusional to think that someone would actually animate a 10-15 minute series for $10-15 dollars.

You seem to be under the assumption that because Southpark is pretty limited animation wise and also pretty rudimentary with it's art style that somehow it's worth waaaay less than something like say the simpsons; obviously, the simpson has more detailed animation than southpark, but that doesn't mean it doesn't still take a hell of a lot of work to produce something like that.

10 minutes of animation by itself is already an insane amount of work.

Animation aside, you are basically asking somebody to design your show from the ground up from scratch for $10 an episode. The amount of work that needs to be done before the first episode even goes into production is a separate job in and of itself. Why would anybody stop working on their own personal projects to work months and months on something else just to earn $10?

You'll have a better chance just learning Flash and producing this thing yourself.

I don't even know how much animation goes for but common sense dictates it surely isn't a dollar.
