This seems like an attack on certain fetishes. The only listed act that could be "life-threatening" is strangulation.
These acts are mostly harmless and are not really worth being outlawed in UK produced pornography. It seems based on personal distastes. Just another attempt at outlawing content some people are disgusted by.
Luckily the USA produces a large amount of these genres and the consumption of these genres has not been outlawed (yet) in the UK.

The UK has always been worse than the US with BS laws. I'm surprised you're just now realizing this. See, the UK will make some BS law first, then after some time the US will make a similar law, then after some more time Canada will make a similar law. It's the trickle-down effect of BS, like it's running down someone's leg and they forgot to wipe.

Of those listed I *think* fisting is also banned in the US. Pretty sure any fisting porn is made elsewhere or else prior to the ban in the US. I could be wrong though but I think the most they're allowed to do in US porn is 4 fingers. You can do it in your own personal sex life but just US porn studios can't produce it anymore and porn shops can't sell it, I think.
