Does anybody else here love this classic dish?

For those of you unaware, it's a classic recipe, it's very similar to chicken soup except instead of chicken it is the sloughed off flesh of a trench foot victim. I know, I know, this sounds vile at first, but it's texture is very similar to a mushroom mixed with the kind of steak that melts in your mouth. The taste is a pungent but pleasant mix of the regular delicacy of human flesh, but with the added bonus of it being aged like a fine wine and a bit moist. Of course, first you'd notice the aroma, it makes me drool just thinking about it.

When I was younger, my grandma used to make it for me all the time, she knew it was my favorite. In her day it used to be much easier to obtain the ingredients, but in this day you can still grow your own, quite easily if you have a dirt floor basement. Just tie somebody down and flood it to about calf height and let them sit there for months.

Does anybody else enjoy this meal as much as I do, and does anybody have any variations or twists on the recipe?

I'd assume somebody with trench foot was making stew in one of those ground kettles and accidentally got some of themselves in it, before noticing how delicious that made it.

I noticed the pun but I'm dead inside.

How can you sleep at night without having at least one bowl of this?
