ITX chassis suggestion 2014-09-23 01:30:52

I can't seem to find one that fulfils my simple requirements. Any suggestions?
- Small, ITX
- Optical disk drive
- Tower CPU cooler
- 11 inch GPU
- Non-awkward wiring
- Doesn't look like shit

Current plan:
Fractal Design Node 304
i5 4460/4590/4690 + Asus H97i-PRO
2x4gb Corsair Vengeance
Seagate 1TB
Crucial M550 128GB

Already have, reusing:
Corsair HX750
MSI GTX 750
Noctua NH-D14

What's wrong with micro ATX or ATX mid-tower?

My current case is a CM HAF 932. This time I'm going small.

-Waste of space (controversial).
-More components to go wrong.

People have their reasons for going ITX. Maybe some of them just like a challenge in space management (see NES PC conversion).

How? You're using the same parts except for a bigger motherboard, bigger case, and possibly bigger fans.

Having more discrete components on the board (capacitors especially) increases the chances of having the entire board fail due to one component failing.

Not to mention bigger boards are flimsier and require more screws to secure.

As long as you're careful when installing the motherboard and doing anything that involves it, that shouldn't be a problem

Even so, there's hardly anything justifying 7 or more slots these days.

And even the 4 slots of a micro ATX motherboard will never be fully utilized by most people.
