I remember my first (and only) date with this cool chick. We met at a party and she gave me her number and told me to get in touch with her so we could chill sometime. Well, a few days later I sent her a text and we meet up. We walk around the pond and went up a hill and talked about stuff like books (though I hate reading, I did enjoy Ender's Game - which she actually considered her one of her favorites too) and faith and other stuff. Later we went to her place and watched some Star Wars. Then I got a call/text from one of my friends saying he and the usual gang wanted to hang out.

I pardoned myself and told her I had a great time hanging out and she said she felt likewise - in retrospect I think she felt a little sad/disappointed as I left. I rode my bike home and met up with my friends that night. Never texted/called her again. To this day I have no idea why.

I came into this thinking it'd be about missing flights. Seriously.

I screw up potential fucks all of the time. I flirt, get their numbers, have drinks. See they're getting turned on through the evening, then hop on the bus, go home and play Halo lol. I've gotten co-workers numbers and had them call me at 1:00 in the morning, then I would just talk about random shit and then say I'm going to bed. I also delete numbers as soon as I get them.
