There's someone online I've known for a fair amount of time who lives in my area and we're thinking about getting together for the 'ole in-out, in-out. I had him Skype me in advance just to make sure he was who he said he was, and he is. I'm above the legal age of consent in my state and so is he.

We talked for a bit and my intuition tells me he's a genuine guy, but of course, I prefer to take as few chances as I can.

What precautions should I take? I'm considering packing in pocket-pepper spray in case things turn out to be REALLY bad, just in case. And I'd also like to meet him in public before in private.
