I think maybe one reason you didn't get any comments earlier is because there aren't many 3D artists around here! For your last image I like the funky legs, but some parts seems like they don't attach properly. The torso's placement in relation to the hips, and the heads placement in relation to the torso seems off. Reference is very useful here!

I don't know what aspect you want to focus your studies and practice on, but if you're looking to draw characters then anatomy would be a natural way to go. We have a cool little workshop group for people doing studies, so if you want a community to hang around with and push eachother to do more then maybe you'll find that interesting!

Thank you!
I think getting anatomy down is still the thing I should be focusing on.
And I will check out your group too!
Thanks! :)

I was bored...I made a thing to emphasize gum's point; the wrists look broken, btw...didn't bother to draw the legs, 'cause they look fine. keep it up, mate.

Thank you!
I'm glad you took the time to really show me where I was off. This really helps! :)

Long time no post again.
I made this for my friend who really likes french bulldogs.
The style is even more cartoonish than usual.

Looks good! Maybe a bit dark as you said. Are you using Blender? Or are you using some other program? :)
I haven't been doing 3D stuff for a long while now. I should really get back to it. I have a list of ideas but I just don't have the time to do them :D

Here are some shortcuts that will propably come in handy:
https://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.4/Reference/Hotkeys/All

Other than that I recommend using the cycles render engine over the Blender internal render engine.
Cycles has in my opinion better control over materials and it also has more realistic lighting :)

Hope this helps! :)

Here's some of my new work. I'm not really happy with them so I'll just post them here and not at the Art portal. The first one even has the same pose as my previous picture :DD
