I'm not going to lie: I have a love-hate relationship with my laptop.
As much as I love my laptop, there is only one thing I dislike: the touch pad controls. The touch pad controls are imprecise and gummy, which is why I'm currently seeking a detachable mouse for my laptop. I don't want an Apple mouse because I've heard some things about it (I don't want to go into detail into that).
The laptop that I have is an Apple Mac OS X.
Yeah dude, just get a cheap wireless mouse. They aren't hard to find cheap.

I got a cheapo hp wired mouse for $7, although I haven't really had an area to properly use it. If you get a mouse, you may want to turn off natural scrolling in the preferences.

Actually, not sure they make wired ones specifically for laptops. I think maybe one for a desktop would plug in somewhere though idk.

I've been using this one for a while now. It's comfortable, accurate and features adjustable DPI. Best of all, it's cheap.

My mouse takes anywhere from 2-5 months, as long as I turn it off when I'm not using it.
