I've been using Sylenth for months and just started using Massive. I always felt like the Pads I got with Sylenth were just weak/flat sounding. When I started using Massive, I got so many awesome sounding pads, I was just amazed. Same with plucks....

Yeah massive is great for pads, I'm not very experienced with sylenth, but it would seem better suited for leads.

Yeah, the randomize and performer functions can be put to some use to create subtle evolving pads.
"Color" wavetable and "magyr" (for very dark pads) are my fav right now.
