Not getting all notifications

I want to point out i'm new on the boards, but it would seem that i don't get all notifications to forum threads i've participated in. Am I missing some kind of 'subscribe to this thread'-button or similar?

If it bothers you, watch the thread manually by keeping a tab open for every thread you have replied to recently.

It bothers me a bit because it's standard in most forums i've been to, so it's a matter of convinience. But fair enough, it clarified a lot.
