The image shows an audio spectrum and for some reason it is placed above the zero line. How do you call this phenomenon? How to fix it? Click play, or stop and it clicks like a freaking tap dancer.

I don't know how to fix it but that sure is a funny glitch!
Haven't used Audacity in a while, but I found this link for you which seems to be pointing the finger at bad analog equipment. "Remove any DC offset" seems to be the solution under Effect>Normalize.
