The song was great so I decided to make a Collab :)
Everybody let's join our skills and make a music video, we will start this from tomorrow so hopefully be ready :)
For the moment gather all your references, check some Youtube Vids and build up your character(s) tonight, no stick figures or full loads of colors just keep it simple but lovely :)
Keep in mind that basically you will be working on a frame by frame animation with some allowed tweens in between
The more participants we have the more shots we get the more it will be better :)
Also I would like to submit this Collab before/by the end of the month so better be active guys :)
Post your characters here tonight/tomorrow and I'll see if they meet the requirements...

Here some quick specifications to start with: (Will be updated later if there are any missing)
-Deadline: before/by the end of the current month still not sure
-Flash Version: Use any I have CS5.5
-ActionScript version: AS2.0
-Stage size: not sure yet 960x540 for the moment
-Frame rate: 24
-Background Color: White
-The duration of your animation have to be between 10-30 sec so basically 240-720 frames to draw easy even if you don't have tablet like myself :)
-E Rated: Because it's for everyone to watch
-No crappy drawings
-You can collaborate with someone else on a single part we'd love to see more characters dancing together on a single shot :)
-Your animations may be edited to fit in the Collab, if we get any troubles
-All contributions will be counting from tomorrow so it's no rush
-Your animation must follow the song. Here's how. I'll rip down the song into small pieces so then tomorrow you only choose and download a single part that you'll be working on it :)

-Also last important rule don't waste my time/NG space asking me silly questions like "Can I join?" "Is there a place for me". If you think you meet all the specifications above, draw a character/yourself and post it under this topic. If not I will ignore all your posts :P

Naaaaahhhhhhhhhhh, I was talking about this concept meaning the animation might be funny if it looks stupid (not necessarily), not saying that anyone is stupid, sorry if you feel provoked I thought the KISS principle is wide spread among internet folks :)

Remember there's no need to color anything but if you still wish to color something just throw some on the clothing/hair/special stuff, even sketchy animation will have their magic :)
It's important for reducing both the workload and file size also hopefully for being on time :)

-We can have 2-4 animators working on the same SubTrack
-Animate a character dancing break-dance moon-walk... you know what I mean
-You can animate a character walking in the street
-Keep the Official Video as your reference please
-Remember that the animation must follow the music
-Please throw in some LipSync if you can, lyrics are here to help you :)
-Also you have to refer to NG in your animation. Just add a small NG logo on the clothing if you don't want to animate a NG character :)

Everyone whose character is approved, can start the real work from this point

Better version here after using some Flash Effects but it's the same one

Will correct the LineArt/Animation, extend it a little bit and add some LipSync
Don't worry about the Effects I'll add them myself once everything done... You may use my first simple version as a reference for the coloring style if you want. Also if you use any backgrounds please keep them separate from your character(s) :)

Since lots of people asked for a deadline extension, surely why not. I think February 5th is fine, if not it will be extended again (but not infinitely)

Also I'll be doing the menu, the intro and the credits so these positions are bot open sorry but I might use your help :)

Track 0 will be used for a small intro, may be an animated title like in the official video, if you have a better idea that would fit properly I'll use it then but anyhow you animate a character dancing we will surely use it :)
