I'm not a huge COD multiplayer fan. I find more times than not it's way too dominated by little kids who are insanely good and the learning curve is too steep.
But Extinction is a really fun update to the traditional 'Zombie Mode' of other COD games. Now it's all against Aliens (I know, another stereotype, but at least it's something new).
The team mechanics remind me a lot of 'Left 4 Dead' games.

infinity ward certainly took a different direction in fighting aliens. extinction is fun to me, and much more fun than their previous survival mode fending off waves of enemy soldiers, though i still prefer treyarch and its zombies mode.

Those little kids aren't insanely good at COD. They just know how to hack and cheat. No ten year old British kid is actually good at COD. Another sad thing is that they're the only crowd that COD really has left.

Both multiplayer and extinction are way too easy because we've been playing the same game since CoD4, if Activision finally get the balls to change the game around (new fucking engine) then people might actually give the game some real praise.

Easy? I've put a lot of hours into it and still can't get past wave 14. It really helps if you have some high ranking team mates who know what they're doing.
But yes it really does need a new engine/playing format. FPS are all stagnant right now.

actually you would need some high ranking team mates who have access to better support and abilities, and are much more helpful in the long run. not to belittle lower ranking players who may in fact know what they are doing, but the higher ranks and their more powerful loadouts have a more favourable chance to advance further.

i don't have the game but i played it at my sisters house on her boyfriends xbox and i really like if they could release just that one part with a long good story and mixed up multiplayer such as tdm and aliens that you have watch out as well (the same concept for zombie games in general i have in my head) and the fun party games that treyarch does with the aliens remix then
i would get it for that

I would like to see some new levels though. It's getting pretty stagnant doing the first one over and over. It seems endless too, I mean even at Wave 14 the hive wasn't finished.
