I really hope Newgrounds will get more activity from users this year. I would really like it to make a big comeback.
Also, Tom, how's about a progress bar? :(

and the top image i used was 500 width 224 height
The only time the images you upload yourself are altered are when they're of greater width/height than some arbitrary figure I forget... PNGs that are scaled may lose transparency, which is why I asked. Doesn't sound like that would be going on in this instance though, so if they have lost their transparency, I don't know what would be causing that. Maybe put the original files in question in a zip, upload them to your dumping grounds and send me a PM with a link so I can test.

Yo, Tom. You've been the webmaster/admin/owner of newgrounds since 1995.
Do you think you might have broken a world record by now? Because that's 19 years. Yes. That's almost TWO DECADES.
And that's impressive.

That's a pretty kickass observation.
Never going to leave good ol' NG. Even though I've got other projects, I started making games here, and I'll always make games and upload 'em here! It's much more awesome 'ere.
Can't wait to show off my 8-bit demake of Cathode Raybots. :) Soon. Soon.

Agreed! It's amazing how much the site has changed in one year. Here's hoping for another great year on Newgrounds, and for you Tom - a financially sound one.
:Now lets get some 2014 supporter upgrades!
Hey, have I totally been in the dark lately? I just found that if I hovered over the time in a blog comment, an exact time pops up? That's a nice feature.

Oh, never noticed that either. Neat. There could be a documentation of partially-hidden yet incredibly useful finesses like this. :P

Some bug is preventing me from creating the 2014 Supporter badge as a new store item. Will hopefully have that sorted out in the next week!

liljim popped that in this past month, actually!
Woo! I missed out getting supporter last year, but now I've got no excuse having moolah and all. :)
Hang In there Tom! I'm so happy youve been able to keep up the site long as you have been :) I have been a dedicated user since 5/10/07 and I plan on it staying that way for as long as I have access to a computer :) Heres to Newgrounds and to you Tom!
Nice, I really adore the new video layout, it prevents my ears from being blasted by max volume videos!
I met zeedox through collabinator and we teamed up to make The Telekinetic Incident
Haven't been around much, and when I have I haven't really stuck around. Moreso just life and different creative pursuits taking me in different directions, but I checked out the site for the first time in a while and read this post. Some definite changes afoot and not all are sounding insanely positive for you guys. This site gave me a pretty incredible outlet when I was a highschool kid making cartoons in Microsoft Powerpoint so i was sad to hear about the rocky road you have seemed to be on as of late.
So I bought a Tankman.
Least I could do.
Keep fighting the good fight humans.
this was the most depressing holiday season ever!

I noticed that a couple days ago.
It's really helpful for me because sometimes I'm away from my computer for extended periods of time and it helps me know exactly how much time has passed and all that jazz.
Hey TomFulp this is awesome piece of software may help save Newgrounds http://mediagoblin.org/

I have a plastic (analog) clock on my desk |: Yeah, I guess I know what you mean - some folks don't drop by here for a while, and you kinda have to process time from their point of view, with relation to their stated short-term goals (which seems to be the subject matter for a majority of blog posts here, "Working on a new ___!!1!")

You do? I still don't know what it is. Why don't you just tell me?
Can't wait to see what the game makers have in store this year. I'd make games myself, but... I don't know how. :(
