I actually had a lot to say about your proportions and anatomy, but you seem to just be figuring it out on your own time, so just keep at it. You're actually improving pretty rapidly. My biggest recommendation is to do a lot of figure study, and do your best to shade them as accurately as possible. I always get the best understanding of form that way. Painterly styles also help for practice, not to mention they're easy to correct.
And keep it up with the unprompted strapons.
