Look gang, Discovery Channel's Shark Week will be starting this year on August 4th. They'll be celebrating its 26th anniversary this year and I'm sure it'll be awesome like it always is.

Welp, here we are guys. Shark Week. Anyone got any program they're looking forward to? Apparently one of them is supposed to talk to some of the people who were involved with SyFy's Sharknado.

Sharks suck, gigantic near-blind sea worms with teeth that cant tell the difference between a fish and a license plate. also I saw a commercial advertising that Animal Planet (or what ever it's called these days) is having a Shark Fest (week) and the whole commercial was like two guys on a couch talking

I have a pathological fear of sharks. It's so bad that I'm hesitant to even go in large, chlorinated pools.

It's on one of the TVs while I'm at the Gym. I can't hear it but I can see it and I don't understand it.
So far it's been talk shows and people in bad shark costumes. I haven't seen any actual shark footage or anything that looks even remotly educational.
Also, sharks are lame... what the world really needs is Gorilla Week. Or Monkies in People clothes week.

You must have just been seeing that Shark after Dark stuff. It was alright, but it wasn't what the meat of the programming was meant for. Most of it was really cool educational footage on sharks.
