Hello, I can't publish my game

How can I fix it?

I'm having the same problem! It's so frustrating.
I had that too, and the ID didn't exist so it was assumably just a previous upload of the same file.The best way I know of solving that problem is just modifying the file slightly and trying again.

I tried it. When you modify you file and try to publish it - there is an error : ERROR - This file has already been moved or deleted.
next time when you try to publish there is an error: ERROR - Can't create park from /net/netapp01/vol/ng_www/tfulp/html/upload/projects/663000/6 63250/file/FC.swf, it doesn't exist.

Hi there, same issue! I'm trying to upload a game - The Adventures of Rubberkid - which is in my project manager now and ready to go. I got the error "ERROR - The file you're attempting to upload is identical to one that's already been submitted. (ID: 613919)" when trying to upload it. I had a demo version on here, so I completely deleted it as well as the new version, then tried to upload it again and it gave me the same error (with the same ID number). I went to newgrounds.com/portal/view/613919 to see what that project was exactly and it comes up with error "ERROR - No submission ever existed with ID 613919."
I didn't realize it was just me though, so I'm kinda relieved at least :)

haha I almost did the same exact thing.
Well I uploaded a new version of the .swf and renamed my project. After I uploaded the .swf I gave it about 10hrs to "settle in." I know that seems kind of silly but when I tried just updating the project before, I had troubles unless I waited a little while to try the game.
Anyways, after that, the error I recieved was:
"ERROR - This file has already been moved or deleted."
lol...
4 days now, still waiting...

'Sunken World' is the game title. It's basically Avatar underwater, shooting invading humans before they steal your citizens.

Yup, I don't know if it now counts attempts to submit movies (because things as they are, they'll remain attempts) as submissions or what, but I tried making a new post and got a very rude answer from a moderator, so I'll guess I have to wait. I remember when I thought that the new layout was cool, but it just made everything harder ._.
I was talking about this error with Tom 3 days ago and he said that he put it on the bug list for Goldfish to fix when he gets back from his vacation this week. So I guess all we can do is play the waiting game until then.

I thought I was the only one with this issue! My whole plan fell apart while this was happening. I was advertising my game to be released 3 days ago and I got a crap load of angry letters sent to my email saying I was a liar.. I just hope this issue is resolved as fast as possible...
How do you think others manage to publish their stuff? Other browsers? Or is this just a bug for certain accounts? When the bug is fixed it'll be like when a dam breaks. The portals will be flooded. o.0
Okay, guys. I came up with the idea to delete my project and reupload it by creating the project on the "manage games" page instead. There was a similar bug before, and you could get around it by doing so. Anyway, that's not the case now. Do NOT try that. Everything gets super weird and spooky! The project will get meters long with just black. It takes ages to scroll down to the bottom. It's scary. I need a hug :(

I have not tried that yet. I will try to upload the game on my PC in a few days. If the bug isn't fixed by then that is. Or who knows, maybe I could try on a different mac tomorrow. I think the OS is different from the one I use now. I'll also use Safari and not Chrome then. I hope that works. I will get back you y'all!
I have tried uploading on two browsers now, FireFox and IE. Firefox is set to not keep a cache after exit. Still no joy.
I've tried uploading on multiple different computers and browsers and I can't get it. I really hope someone figures out the problem cause I'm itching to upload this movie.
