With just about any other player, and better too since VLC sucks.

Well it is really, really inexcusably bad.
I use Spotify for music. It's automatically loaded all of the music on my computer so I can listen to that easily, and I can also listen to music that isn't mine (but with adverts). Playlists are really easy to create, there's a radio thing for finding new songs based on what you already listen to (helped me discover most of my favourite bands) and it's just really simple to use.
I don't use anything for video, I don't download videos. I don't think YouTube really counts, does it? I never watch DVDs on my laptop either, I always use my TV.

They're both borderline monopolies in different areas. The thing I don't like about Apple is how they're feeding on the brand and not the product, and it's much more hype than it is for Microsoft. When one of Microsoft's products isn't any good, there's not a crazy fanbase ready to deny it. I'm not very happy about their latest OS either, but where's the alternative?

i'm really liking how visual it is (without going overboard)
it's nice to see lyrics + covers + back covers etc all at once
Good. You need to skin Foobar to make it look decent and it's way too annoying to customize.

Looks nice. What's the skin?
iTunes, it's easier since I have an iPod.
Tried switching to foobar2k once, all tags got fucked up, could not figure out how to change skin, gave up.
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.
general threads have so much substance.
I mostly stream music over Pandora or grooveshark, doesn't give the codec/filetype/library issues. I only download a few songs so I save free space, and listen to them over Foobar, never liked the looks of VLC.

Musicbee vs iTunes, considering I have an iPod and I'm used to iTunes, is it worth it?

Course man. iTunes is pretty awful.

Welp that's me.
if you're just going to add music to a music player and listen/transfer to idevices then there is no real reason to use musicbee
I do keep iTunes organized, and with the recent update, I think it looks p great.
Still, I might give musicbee a shot then, thanks mang.
mine is looking really nice
Indeed it is! Also all that SY, didn't know you like them, good to find out.

There's infinite music players. There's only like 5 ever worth trying though.
